How Demetrius Riley collects, uses, and protects your personal information — including SMS messaging under the A2P 10DLC framework and your rights over your data.

Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. Overview & Scope

Demetrius Riley ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through our website and consultation process, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

This policy applies to all personal information we collect when you visit our Site, submit a consultation request, or otherwise interact with us. It is written to be readable and transparent; where technical or regulatory terms are used, we explain them in plain language.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact information: your name, email address, mobile phone number, and any details you provide in a consultation request.
  • Consultation details: the insurance solutions you're interested in, household or business context, and any notes you share during a consultation.
  • Communications data: records of SMS and email exchanges, including message content, timestamps, and delivery status.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and usage analytics collected automatically when you use the Site.

3. SMS Messaging & A2P 10DLC

SMS Consent: When you provide your mobile number and consent, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from us via an A2P 10DLC messaging service. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

We send SMS messages using an Application-to-Person (A2P) 10-digit long code (10DLC) registered through The Campaign Registry (TCR). This framework, governed by U.S. mobile carriers, requires us to register our messaging use cases, verify our business identity, and comply with carrier content and consent rules.

Messages we may send include:

  • Consultation scheduling, reminders, and confirmations
  • Follow-up messages related to your inquiry or active service
  • Policy and document delivery notifications
  • Time-sensitive account servicing alerts

Message frequency varies based on your interactions. We do not send marketing SMS messages unless you have separately opted in to receive them.

For full terms governing SMS messaging, see our Terms & Conditions.

4. Opting Out of SMS & Other Communications

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time:

Opting out of SMS does not affect service-related communications sent through other channels or any obligations under an active insurance policy.

5. Carrier & Service Provider Data Sharing

To deliver SMS messages and comply with the A2P 10DLC framework, we share certain information with mobile carriers, The Campaign Registry (TCR), and our messaging service providers. This may include:

  • Your mobile phone number and message delivery metadata
  • Registered campaign use-case and brand information
  • Information necessary for carrier verification, filtering, and delivery

We comply with the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, the TCPA, and all applicable carrier A2P 10DLC rules. We do not send SHAFT-regulated content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco) or any other content prohibited under carrier rules.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to consultation requests and provide insurance advisory services
  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments via SMS, email, or phone
  • Deliver policy documents and time-sensitive service notifications
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and carrier A2P 10DLC requirements
  • Maintain records of our communications for service quality and compliance
  • Improve the Site and our services over time

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including insurance recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. SMS and email communication logs are retained in accordance with applicable recordkeeping rules and carrier A2P 10DLC audit requirements.

When your information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to any legal retention requirements.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of SMS and marketing communications
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

11. Children's Privacy

Our services and Site are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
